Effective October 1, 2026.
PM Software Picks (pmsoftwarepicks.com) publishes independent reviews and comparisons of property management software. This policy explains what information the site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
PM Software Picks is published by Grid and Gradient, an independent small publisher. You can reach us at gridandgradientco@gmail.com.
What we collect
Usage data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people find the site. It records things like pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and the site or search that referred you. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Server logs. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser, and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. If comments are enabled on a page and you leave one, we receive the name, email address, and IP address you submit along with the comment text. We do not require an account to read the site.
We do not ask for payment details, and we do not sell personal information.
Cookies and similar technologies
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visits. When you click an affiliate link to a software vendor, that vendor or its affiliate network (for example Impact, PostAffiliatePro, or PartnerStack) may set its own cookies so the referral can be tracked. We do not control those cookies, and each company has its own privacy policy.
How we use information
We use it to run and improve the site, to see which content is useful, to keep the site secure, and to answer messages. We do not use it to build profiles of individual visitors.
Services we use
- Google Analytics and Google Search Console, from Google
- Bing Webmaster Tools, from Microsoft
- Hostinger, for hosting
- Affiliate networks and software vendors, when you click an affiliate link (see our Affiliate Disclosure)
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email us and we will respond.
Retention
Analytics data is kept according to Google Analytics’ retention settings. Emails and comments are kept as long as needed to respond or run the site, and we delete them on request where we can.
Children
This site is written for adults who manage rental property. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
